Throughout the school year, children develop in many academic subjects such as reading and math. Unfortunately, if students stop practicing these skills over the summer, they can experience what’s known as the summer slide. To keep skills fresh, children should keep practicing during the summer months.

That’s exactly what happens at Apple Montessori Summer Camps! Guided by our Montessori-trained teachers, campers spend time each day focused on building academic skills. The best part? We keep learning fun, exciting, and engaging with a wide range of activities, experiments, and projects.

Summer is synonymous with water play and children love getting wet! For this reason, all of our Apple Montessori Summer Camp locations include fun water activities. Many of our sites feature gorgeous swimming pools, while other sites feature splash pads or sprinklers so that campers can still cool off and enjoy some water sensory play.

At our locations with swimming pools, campers learn or build on their swimming skills during lessons taught by certified lifeguards. If you’re interested in off-site swimming lessons, we also offer this service at some locations.

At Apple Montessori Schools, we know that many families plan vacations and other fun activities over the summer break. That’s why we offer flexible scheduling options for our campers. You can sign up for the full 8 week program, or opt for a total of 3 to 7 weeks of enrollment. Choose the weeks that work for you, whether consecutive or not.

We offer themed weeks and plan exciting, engaging daily activities for campers to enjoy. Some of our most popular programs include:

• Crafts: From making tote bags and sun visors to creative expression through painting and coloring, our crafts are always a hit.
• Coding and Technology: Kids love learning through technology. Our campers learn the basics of coding and can also participate in our FasTracks program. This digital program builds critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, and more!
• Cooking: We turn our campers into young chefs who create delicious smoothies, salads, trail mixes, and other healthy snacks.
• All-Star Action: Sports, obstacle courses, races, and other active events are a regular part of our camp program.
• Field Trips: We include outings to local attractions or in-house events each week. All trips and events are subject to the latest health and safety guidelines.
• Celebrity Kids: Our campers participate in performance art activities such as dance, music, talent shows, acting, and more!
• Innovators and Explorers: Does your child love doing experiments? Then they’ll love our innovators and explorers program, which focuses on STEAM activities like making slime, launching rockets, experimenting with robotics, and more!
