Meet the Team Behind Apple Montessori Schools Warrington
When families choose a school, they're choosing so much more than a beautiful building or an educational philosophy. They're choosing the people who will greet their child each morning, celebrate milestones, encourage independence, and help shape a lifelong love of learning.
As Apple Montessori Schools prepares to open its first Pennsylvania campus, we're excited to introduce the experienced leaders who are helping bring our Warrington community to life.
For Amanda Gearhart, a school should feel like a second home.
With nearly 20 years in early childhood education, Amanda brings a wealth of experience, compassionate leadership, and a deep understanding of Montessori education to Apple Warrington. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Shippensburg University before completing her Montessori certification at Chestnut Hill College.
Amanda spent nearly 15 years leading a Montessori classroom, where she developed a passion for creating peaceful, engaging environments that nurture each child's unique potential. She later served as a School Director for five years, overseeing daily operations while supporting students, families, and educators alike.
As the founding School Director of Apple Montessori Warrington, Amanda is excited to build a warm, welcoming school community where every family feels known, every teacher feels supported, and every child is empowered to thrive.
When she's not at school, Amanda enjoys family movie nights, weekend trips to Cape May, sport fishing, traveling to Disney World, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Stacey Venuto has spent nearly 25 years helping children discover the joy of learning through authentic Montessori education.
She earned her Bachelor of Science from Brevard College and completed her Montessori training through the Center for Montessori Teacher Education in New York. Throughout her career, Stacey has taught Montessori students across the country—from Tampa, Florida, to Milwaukee, Wisconsin—before spending the past 15 years serving families at Neshaminy Montessori, just minutes from our Warrington campus.
As Director of Education, Stacey works alongside teachers to ensure every classroom reflects the authentic Montessori philosophy while inspiring curiosity, independence, and confidence. She believes every child has an innate desire to learn and that thoughtfully prepared environments allow that natural curiosity to flourish.
Stacey also brings the perspective of a Montessori parent. As the mother of five children, ages 5 to 20, all of whom have experienced a Montessori education, she has seen firsthand the lasting impact the philosophy can have—not only in the classroom, but throughout life.
Because Stacey also calls the Warrington community home, joining Apple Montessori Schools is especially meaningful. She looks forward to building lasting relationships with local families while helping children become confident, compassionate, and lifelong learners.
Amanda and Stacey each bring decades of experience to Apple Montessori Warrington, but what makes them such a strong team is their shared vision.
Together, they are creating a school where children feel safe to explore, teachers feel inspired to grow, and families become true partners in their child's educational journey. From preparing beautiful Montessori classrooms to supporting every child's academic, social, and emotional development, they're building a community that families will be proud to call home.
Exceptional leadership is only the beginning.
Every Apple Montessori classroom is led by highly qualified educators who hold at least a bachelor's degree in education and have a minimum of two years of classroom experience. Teachers who are not already Montessori certified complete their certification through the North American Montessori Center (NAMC) during their first year with Apple, ensuring every classroom reflects authentic Montessori principles.
Learning doesn't stop once our teachers are hired. Apple Montessori Schools is accredited by the Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS), and our educators participate in ongoing professional development throughout the year. Supported by our dedicated Education Department, they continually refine their practice, collaborate with colleagues, and stay current on the latest research and best practices in Montessori and early childhood education.
The result is a team of educators who are committed to helping every child build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
The best way to experience Apple Montessori Warrington is to meet the people who make it special.
