Lights, Camera... Camp! A Summer of Adventure at Apple
Summer is a magical time for children — longer days, warm sunshine, and endless opportunities for exploration. At Apple Montessori Schools, summer brings something even more special: a camp experience filled with creativity, discovery, and joyful learning.
Our Summer Camp transforms the familiar Montessori environment into a vibrant seasonal adventure where children can explore new interests, build friendships, and continue growing all summer long. Designed for children ages 2–12 (varying by location), Apple's camp blends fun, imagination, and hands-on learning in a safe and nurturing setting.
Each summer at Apple is centered around an exciting theme that inspires weekly activities and creative exploration.
For Summer Camp 2026, campers will step into the spotlight with the theme Lights! Camera! Action! Throughout the eight-week program, children will explore the magic of movies through hands-on activities, dramatic play, crafts, and performances inspired by favorite films.
From creating props and costumes to acting out scenes and collaborating on imaginative projects, every week offers new opportunities for children to express themselves and work together.
Apple Summer Camp is designed to keep children active, curious, and excited about learning. Each day blends creativity, movement, and hands-on discovery through a variety of engaging activities, including:
- STEAM exploration with coding, robotics, and science experiments
- Arts and crafts that encourage creativity and self-expression
- Music, drama, and theater through our Celebrity Kids program
- Sports and active games that keep campers moving and energized
- Cooking experiences where children create healthy snacks
- Technology activities that introduce digital exploration
- Field trips (ages 4+) and in-house events that bring learning to life
These experiences allow children to explore new interests while building confidence, independence, and teamwork.
While summer camp is filled with fun while school is out, it also continues the meaningful learning children experience throughout the year. Guided by Apple’s experienced teachers, campers participate in daily Montessori lessons in areas such as:
- Practical Life
- Math
- Language
- Sensorial
- Science
- Geography
This balance of learning and play helps children stay engaged academically while preventing the “summer slide,” keeping their skills fresh and their curiosity thriving.
Summer wouldn’t be complete without outdoor adventures! Our campers spend plenty of time outside on our Outdoor Classrooms and other outdoor spaces.
Many Apple locations also offer swimming lessons with Red Cross-certified instructors, while others provide splash pads, sprinklers, or water play activities so campers can stay cool and have fun in the summer sun.
At its heart, Apple Summer Camp is about more than activities — it’s about the experiences children share together. Campers form friendships, discover new passions, and create lasting memories in a supportive community guided by caring teachers and staff.
Every day brings something new to explore, ensuring that each child leaves camp feeling confident, inspired, and excited for what comes next.
Summer Camp at Apple Montessori Schools runs July 6 through August 28, 2026, with flexible scheduling options available.
