Help Apple Montessori Parent Association Support Those Impacted by Hurricanes

The Wayne Apple Montessori Parent Association (AMPA) is currently collecting donations in support of those affected by Hurricanes Helene & Milton. Families at the Wayne location, as well as those at nearby Kinnelon & Towaco schools, are encouraged to donate and to bring their items to school by October 23. Trucks will transport the donations to North Carolina the weekend of October 26.

• Non-perishable foods (e.g., canned foods, peanut butter, protein shakes) ***Please, no glass containers

• Manual can openers

• Socks/Underwear (new)

• Diapers, baby wipes

• Oral healthcare supplies

• Toiletries (soap or body wash, shampoo & conditioner, toothpaste & toothbrush, deodorant, razors & shaving cream, lotion or moisturizer, hairbrush or comb)

• Feminine hygiene products

• Toilet paper, paper towels

• Hand sanitizer

Cleaning & Utility Supplies

• Trash bags (heavy-duty contractor bags)

• Heavy-duty work gloves

• Cleaning supplies (bleach, disinfectant wipes)

• Sponges, scrub brushes
