Every graduation season is filled with celebrations, proud families, and exciting plans for what's next.

For us at Apple Montessori Schools, it's also a reminder of something special: every graduate's story began somewhere.

This year, we're celebrating three Apple alumni who just graduated from high school and recently stopped by our Wayne school to say hello, which truly warmed our hearts. While their paths have each been unique, they all share one thing in common—they began their educational journeys in our classrooms years ago.

Where It All Started

Long before graduation caps and college plans, these students were learning alongside friends, exploring carefully prepared classrooms, and building the habits that would support them throughout their education.

Avi began his Apple journey at our former Wayne Ratzer campus and remained with Apple in our Elementary program through fifth grade.

Today, he's preparing for an exciting new chapter as he heads to Harvard University this fall.

Malik and Nicholas attended Apple through the fourth and second grades, respectively, and just finished their high school journeys.

Looking Beyond the Milestone

These stories remind us that education is a journey measured over years—not months.

We often talk about preparing children for kindergarten. But at Apple, we're also helping children develop qualities that can serve them throughout their lives:

  • Curiosity that inspires lifelong learning.
  • Independence that encourages children to tackle new challenges.
  • Confidence to ask questions, solve problems, and persevere.
  • Respect for themselves, others, and the world around them.

Of course, every child's journey is different. Their accomplishments belong to them, their families, and the many teachers, mentors, and schools that supported them along the way. We're simply honored to have been part of the beginning.

Once an Apple Student, Always Part of the Apple Family

Watching former students reach milestones like high school graduation is one of the greatest joys of being part of a school community.

To Avi, Nicholas, and Malik, as well as all the other Apple students who are a part of the Class of 2026, congratulations on this incredible achievement. We are so proud of everything you've accomplished and can't wait to see where your next chapters take you!

And to the families currently walking through our doors with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners: one day, you'll blink—and your little learner will be celebrating milestones of their own.

We're grateful to be part of the beginning of those stories.
